The Yorkshire Hotel - Harrogate

Great hotel with free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a cozy bar. I remember how the staff helped me with my heavy luggage during my first stay. I recommend enjoying the really good breakfast and cute atmosphere.

It was in a marvellous location with Turkish Baths Harrogate nearby. The area was pretty nice near numerous outlets locally and all local attractions, shops and the park, Bettys and plenty of bars and restaurants around.

Perfect Spot for Shopping and Relaxing

Enjoyed a good stay close to all the shops and the magical Christmas market! The staff were really good, we felt welcomed. Don't miss out on the exquisite afternoon tea-definitely a treat after a long day exploring. An ideal base for festive shopping!

Had very central location in the centre. We booked standard room that was complete with shower, the bedroom and great view as advertised.

Small dingy rooms,i was in a single as were my two friends,one lift only working which takes max three people,broken chairs on landings

Great stay, as always. The location is marvellous, a 10-15 minute walk from Saint Wilfrid's Church. It is in a lovely area. The stuff is pleasant and exceptional, an absolute asset to this the place.

Very tired, shabby, rooms not clean. Desperate need of updating, corridors with stained carpets, paint work flaking with a foisty smell throughout. Would not stay there again.

I was told on arrival that "the rate had changed" & that I was expected to pay £100 for 1 nights stay instead of £60. The next day I quearied this & only paid £60, but if I hadn't said anything I would have had to pay the £100!

The location is fantastic, with all the bars and attractions within walking distance. My room was spacious and the bed super comfy. The staff were attentive, and the dining experience stood out, especially the scallops and sirloin. Everything was excellently presented!

dated, we were on 4th floor outside our room was a empty paint container collecting rain coming through the ceiling which was nearly full when we checked out, we had said we would stay for breakfast at £20 per couple but had to decline, it was buffet style laid out on the entrance before the dining room uncovered and looked anything but appertising.

food choices, decor and overall state of hotel, no decor on walls or on corridors. couldnt sleep all night for springs poking out of mattresses, appalling condition...parking wasnt adequate

The hotel is ideally placed in the centre of Harrogate and is an extremely striking buidling externally. The internal decorations are contemporary, and some of the wooden furniture was a little jaded, but it was not unacceptebly so and all of the communla areas, rooms and bathrooms has high levels of hygiene. It had a professional but relaxed atmosphere and the staff in all roles within the team were polite and responsive and gave excellent service.
